광명 - 그때 그 모습

• 광명동

오늘날 광문고등학교 인근의 괭메라는 동네의 이름에서 유래한 유서깊은 동네이다.
광명사거리를 중심으로 교통의 요충지이며 과거에는 목감천으로 유입되는 하천이 있었으나 복개되어 볼 수 없다.
2000년에 마무리된 지하철 7호선 공사로 한때 불편을 겪기도 하였으나 개통 이후 재도약을 향해 나아가고 있다.
